Why Four Castles?

This is the town behind the name:

                                                                   Neckarsteinach

As a little girl, I visited my family in Germany every summer.  We did many day trips, but this is the one we did every single summer.  We took a boat ride to Neckarsteinach, ate lunch at the same restaurant there, then did the walk of the four castles.  The walk ended at a small playground by the river.
Every year the same, and every year I loved it.

Here it is!

Combining ideas from two Etsy shops, this logo was created!  Next step is having labels made!

Halloween Skirts!!

It's September and Fall is on its way!!  Earlier this summer I stocked up on fun Halloween fabric, and now I'm so excited to start sewing with it!  I made these using the Everyday Play Skirt pattern by Little Lizard King.  The waistband is knit, and creates a nice, soft yoga band.  Shirts can be tucked in, as well as out, which means multiple looks from just one skirt.  The bottom trim options are either a tiny ruffle or ric rac, both so adorable.  These will be available to buy soon, fully customized.  These are full skirts, using a good amount of fabric.  Luckily, I was able to get a great deal on the fabric, so the skirts are available at a great price.

Sizes 12 months - 5 years will be $20.
Sizes 6 and above will be $25.

Time for a Logo!

Time for labels for my fun little clothes, which means time for a logo!  I picked two vendors off of Etsy, one super cheap and one just cheap and these are the ideas I was sent.  To be honest, none of the ones shown below caught my fancy.  I actually preferred the super cheap ($5!!!) logo I received.  It's still rough though, so I won't be posting it quite yet.
